The NEW Speedrite FenceAlert is a simple device with a big job. It emits a warning light as soon as it detects low voltage on the electric fence it is clipped to. This provides an early warning that your fence needs attention and that stock may be able to escape. The FenceAlert starts working when your fence stops. The bright red warning light starts flashing when low or intermittent voltages are detected on your electric fence. The bright warning light can be seen from up to a mile in the dark. The robust impact- and water-resistant case is designed to withstand extensive periods in the outdoors. The FenceAlert can be used on permanent and temporary fencing. The tall clip allows the FenceAlert to be easily clipped onto fencing wire from 16 gauge to 8 gauge, or onto electrified tape up to 1½" wide. The FenceAlert works with all pulsed energisers. No ground wires or external power sources required. Housed inside the case is a replaceable CR2032 lithium button cell battery, which will power the FenceAlert for up to 5 years on standby, or for up to 2 weeks of continuous flashing. The CR2032 lithium button cell is a common style of battery that is readily available.
